Maggie is an associate attorney at Chenault Hammond, P.C. located in Decatur, Alabama. She joined the firm in 2023. She is admitted to practice in Alabama and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. She focuses her practice on family law, probate law, personal injury, and insurance defense.  

Maggie graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Spanish. She was a five-year member of the Track and Field team, where she excelled in discus, shot put, hammer, and weight. She was an eight-time individual Southern Conference Champion and a member of seven Southern Conference Championship teams. Maggie currently holds two school records, in the discus and weight, and was a two-time NCAA East Regional Qualifier in the discus.  

After completing her undergraduate education, Maggie earned her Juris Doctor from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. She served as both an Associate Editor (2021-2022) and a Research and Writing Editor (2022-2023) for the American Journal of Trial Advocacy. She also helped re-establish the Hull Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta and served as Treasurer (2021-2022).  

Maggie is originally from Macon, Georgia and enjoys cooking, watching sports, and spending time with her corgi, Oscar.
